Comments: I used a run walk strategy as planned during training. Run 5 min, walk 1 min What would you do differently?: Run walk strategy worked out great. I felt very strong the entire time except maybe the last 2 miles although my pace didn't suffer. I'm guessing that many other people were hurting by this time because I passed a LOT of people during the run. Post race
Warm down: I felt pretty sick and was unable to eat or drink anything for about an hour. I'm not sure why...This was my first half ironman and I didn't know what to expect.
