Comments:

Great first mile. No mile marker but I think I went low 7. Small hills slowed me down for the second mile but I think I was still in the mid 15 range. The last mile was a hammershow as the Division Street hill threw on the brakes BIGTIME. Last 1/2 mile was downhill and I was able to effectively stride to Main St. Good kick for the final 1/4. 25:02 gun time. 25:00 line time. Bitter...
What would you do differently?:

I can't say I would do anything different. Weight is still a problem. This was a PR (since I started training again) so I can't complain too much. Would like to have been firmly in the 24s or high 23s...maybe on a flatter course.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around in circles.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight.

Event comments:

Course is a bit of a pain. The hill at mile 2 does nothing for people trying to PR. It is a challenging course as the times were pretty high based on area 5ks. Lot of traffic but the PD did OK with what they had. Printer broke down so no race results yet.
