Comments: Cycling is what got me into the sport, and now it's my weakest leg. I barely beat last years split. Lot's of work to do on the bike. I expect huge improvements for next season. Transition 2
Comments: Good transition. Got caught in a scrum at the bike finish, but other than that.......... What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: Legs felt ok heading out of T2. After mile 1 they really loosened up and i was able to pick up the pace. I really wanted to beat 21mins, but I'm pretty happy with this time. Again, I think I can improve on this split. What would you do differently?: Suck it up a bit more Post race
Warm down: Walk around. Bottle of Endurox and a coke. Talk to friends and cheer on finishers. What limited your ability to perform faster: A couple mechanical issues on the bike (dropped chain, skipping gear). I don't know how much that affected my time as I pushed the bike as hard as I could. Event comments: I finally beat Tommy!!! Of course, he has only swam 3 times since White Lake..........
