Pre-race routine:

We spent the night in Port Huron. The hotel had free breakfast, so I had yogurt, banana and tired to eat an english muffin with peanut butter, oh...half a power bar. I wasn't as nervous as my first tri. We drove by my Granny's house....that was really nice.

My best swim. The water was very clear and calm. I felt like I started in the back, but as soon as I found a lane to swim in, I was in the front of the pack. I had a good swim. Didn't feel confined. I did free style most of the way, just did breast stroke to keep on track. Felt great!

The run was the hardest part. My side hurt, but I kept running. I wanted to not stop getting water, but I did, but not for very long. I thought about sprinting between landmarks and tried it twice, but couldn't. I tried as hard as I could.
What would you do differently?:

More training.
