Pre-race routine:

Lots of hydration, a banana, apple, and granola bar. Set up transition, talked and looked around.
Event warmup:

Light stretching and swimming to get use to the water temp.

Comments:

Great swim. Started off with a hard freestyle up front and on the outside of the first turn. Avoided all the congestion and used breast stroke to navigate when I had too. Felt really good.
What would you do differently?:

Stood up a little too early and pulled suit off a little early. Should have swam a little closer to shore.

Comments:

Felt a lot slower than it actually went. Had a little trouble with jersey and socks. Actually had to sit down. Wetsuit came off fairly easy.
What would you do differently?:

Put body glide on wrists and ankles to test it out.

Went well initially, but the Gatorade I drank came back up at about mile 5. I spent 5 minutes on the side of the road puking and watching others pass by me. I felt fine afterwards and forced my self as fast as I could to recover time lost. Still only average 17mph, but had to work for it.
What would you do differently?:

No more gatorade or atleast water it down a lot more!

Ok run, about average. I thought I was pushing harder than I did, but my time wasn't much faster from a previous tri. Oh well better luck next year.

Had a fun sprint to the finish with the 4th AG though. He got me by just a couple of seconds.
What would you do differently?:

Build a much stronger running base for next year.
