Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 3am. left home at 4:15 and drove for the hour to get to Caloundra. Got into transition, set up, realised I wasn't really organised - found the jelly dinosaurs in my bento box and laughed!

It was a fast swim. Water was clean, no chop and working with the current. Only downside was slipping as I stood up to get out of the water. Going under thr bridge for the first time was so cool!

I think I've outgrown this race. It's too far to travel for the length of time on the course.
