Comments:

Felt GREAT during the entire run. Very happy with my training. Was hoping to come in under 2:45 but was going to be happy at under 3:00. Ran with my 28 year old niece who hadn't run more then 6 miles prior to the race, so held back for her. Ate some fruit leather at about mile 10 and 1/2 a Clif bar at around mile 11.
What would you do differently?:

Absolutely nothing. Had such a fun time. Never knew I could actually really enjoy a run like this.
Post race
Warm down:

Ate some soup, a piece of pizza, a donut and drank a coke. Waited for everyone else in my group to come in. My 74 year old MIL, two SILs came in at just under 4:00.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just held back to offer encouragement to niece, but wouldn't have done anything differently.

Event comments:

Ready to sign up for this next year. Need to get a downtown hotel EARLY on, with a comfy bed! I REALLY enjoyed myself!
