Swim
Comments: I had the opportunity to pass a couple of swimmers in the first 150 and did not take it, and only passed one of the two possible swimmers in teh second 150 swim. What would you do differently?: Treat the race like the sprint it was designed to be. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Practice peddeling in turns for this entire course. What would you do differently?: Crank out the power that I know I have on the bike now. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Was getting warm and never did really push myself. What would you do differently?: At least srint to the finish. Post race
Warm down: eat!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Did not treat the event as a race. Event comments: I had fun cheering on my son and placed second in my age group on what I count as a training day. The race was fun and different in that you swam twice, biked twice and ran twice with 4 transitions. I think I will do it again next year and add some speed! A few photos of my step-daughter finishing her first tri that day, my son Trey crossing the finish line, and me in my ESCKTC suit getting ready to eat again after finishing!
