Don't wear socks you haven't tried in a long run before.
Post race
Warm down:

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My blisters, cramps, ....

Event comments:

Great race with a lot of spectators despite the early start (6am.) The weather was amazing although a little humid. I would do this race again but maybe just the half. One problem though is that a lot of slow people were in front of me and my first mile was 8'30 when I needed to do 7'30. Why do you go in the front if you're going to walk?? I will never understand this. The finish is great with a lot of people cheering.
