Pre-race routine:

got up at 4:00 AM met dave, sausage biscuit and coffie from mcd's and a pop tart. breakfast of champ's

was very happy with the swim, bad condtions but i didn't let it bother me. i stayed relaxed and went with it, (not like dave)

i sould have check the exit before the race and then wore my shoes.

i knew due to lack of training the last 2 months (foot) that this would be the weak link. very happy with time/pace for what I have been doing. I did see dave at the 2 turns and had a good lead. I did push harder to keep him from making up the ground... foot did good, mild pain last mile
What would you do differently?:

as always my run is bottom half of age group. I need to drop more weight and run more and more and more....

finished 4th in A/G for the 4th time in last 6 races. if i would work on running i might get hardware again some day.
