Comments: took my time, ensured I lubed up pretty well as I chafed a lot in my previous race...forgot to open the velcro on my bike shoes What would you do differently?: open the velcro on my bike shoes Bike
Comments: Ended up with a group of about 5 or 6 riders who were each (including myself) trying to outdo each other. There was an old bastard who was a pain in the ass who kept yelling for everyone to stay to the right so he could pass I think. Ate a gel every 25 mins, which allowed me to do the run without cramping. What would you do differently?: Nothing, bery enjoyable, except for the old bastard. Transition 2
Comments: Changed into new shirt which made me feel a little fresher Run
Comments: Left the transition with a bottle of water which I made last until mile 3...then I put the plastic bottle in someone's mailbox as I didn't want to litter What would you do differently?: maybe hydrate a little more as around mile 5 a cramped a bit in the lower quads..not enough to bonk though Post race
