Pre-race routine:

Raced this race as a relay! I did the run portion with my teammates Kristin (swimmer) and biker (Amber). Met the girls around 6pm at the race site...had coffee and some dry cheerios on the way down to the beach.

Kristin our swimmer did great! She had us in 4th coming out of the water! This was only her second triathlon ever and she did amazing...way to go Kristin!

I felt great on this run...I didn't over exert myself but I felt very comfortable! I decided to just run how I felt and not to be checking my watch for splits! Passed some relay teams on the run but it was hard to determine if they were an all female relay team or a co-ed team!

Woohoo for the Dashin' Diva's (that's our team name). We got second place out of 15 female relay teams! We were VERY happy! We had gotten second last year as well so next year...watch out...the Diva's will be back!!
