Pre-race routine:

got up at 6:30 ate oatmeal. Banana on way there and protien bar right before race.
Event warmup:

rode bike around parking lot. lots of hugs and kisses from kids and hubby.

I was first swimmer. I felt great and had my best swim time(9:56) from the stop watch. not the race time

not have Dave in my lane

I could not get my shoes on. had to sit still took forever. the tounge of my bike shoe kept rolling in. Very frustraiting

my legs were trashed from the bike. I worked a lot on my run and my bike suffered so legs were weak from bike. quad froze up going down the last hill.
What would you do differently?:

need to be more even with training

I love this race. I thought I was ready. I worked hard on my swim and run.I need to get on my bike more. I should have had a better run but my legs were trashed from the bike. I need more consistant training in all 3 events. Looking forward to spring
