I started out way too fast and died by the time I hit the hills.
What would you do differently?:

pace myself

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I had to keep reminding myself that mile 8 of the race was really mile 15 for me.

Event comments:

There were water stations every two miles and gatorade at the halfway point. The volunteers were energetic and helpful. It was annoying to have to take a bus to and from your car but we didn't have to wait at all either time.
