Comments: The course was extremely hilly during the first 8 miles and for the last 4 miles it was going mostly downhill, which wasn't really easy too. Seems to be a challenging course, so considering that my time isn't that bad. Had problems will my right ankle, but it didn't hold me back. Katie, her dad and christine also raced. Katie's dad had a hard time with his hamstrings, but everybody was doing great. What would you do differently?: due to sickness, i was only able to train for 2 weeks, so i couldn't really taper. Post race
Warm down: stretching, drinking a bottle of accelerade, lots of water, hot dog, soup etc. What limited your ability to perform faster: pain in ankle and an hip slowed me down somewhat. Event comments: It took a while until it started. I crossed train tracks with a train coming. It must have stopped a bunch of people and messed up their timing. Last updated: 2008-10-07 12:00 AM
