Comments: Did not grab any water at the turn-around, I planned on drinking the bottle I had on my bike. What would you do differently?: Since it was my first du I made sure I reserved myself on the first run. Based on my current conditioning, my pace was appropriate. Transition 1
Comments: I had practiced a little, made sure I got my helmet on first thing. Could of gone faster, but didn't want to rush. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Bike
Comments: Maintained a good 22-23 mph for the first 5 miles. Passed a lot of people. Hit some wind on the way back that I wasn't expecing and maintained about 17-18 mph. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2

Comments: I knew this would be the hardest part. Just kept my feet moving. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: My overall conditioning and my running. I plan on running a lot this winter. Event comments: Perfect weather, well run race. Will do it next year with more focus on speed. Last updated: 2008-10-15 12:00 AM

Ate a banana and bagel w/ peanut butter. Finished a travel mug of coffee and started drinking water on the ride down.
A little jog up and down the parking lot next to the bike chute. Maybe 5 mins or so about 15 minutes before the event start.
