Comments:

The first mile was the most challenging for me. Partly, because it was uphill and very cold. After that I was able to go faster. I am glad that I didn't go out too fast like I did at the Rio Grande 5k. My strategy was to maintain a 9'0" mile for the first two miles and pick it up the last mile. I felt good during and after this race.
What would you do differently?:

I need to work on speedwork, but with this race I'm glad I stuck with my strategy.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk around area.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Cold

Event comments:

This was the hospital's first time putting on this race. There seemed to be a good turn out of runners and plenty of volunteers. Lots of snacks and drinks at the end of the race.

Performance: Good
Mile 1 was a 9'19" mile, Mile 2 was 9'01" and Mile 3 was 7'59" according to my GPS. (I didn't monitor my heart rate)
Course: It was well marked and a nice area to run. There was some uphill and downhill. It seemed just right for the course.
