Comments: Felt terrible after Mile 1 - never had it today. Wore new trail sneakers that are heavier than my regular racing sneakers. Don't know if that was it or I was just not feeling well or I didn't train enough (or all of the above). What would you do differently?: Not sure. Felt lousy the whole run but still only added 30 seconds from last year's pace. Post race
Warm down: Hung out with wife and kids; Water and bagel with orange slices What limited your ability to perform faster: Tried to better pace myself but got caught in a pack at the start and never felt as though I could accelerate or pass people until very end.
