Pre-race routine:

woke up ate cliff bar and maybe some snickers marathon. Not feeling good at all been sick last 2 days and have just been feeling very fatigued. Dont seem to get enough sleep. Think from 1/2IM last weekend and been up at 4am all week for work.

started out decent pass. But at mile 2 I just knew my sickness was not going to let me keep the pace. Then at mile 4 I was just hurting too much..started to slow down some. Legs still a little heavy from last weekend. I shouldnt havent even done the race. However, i just felt that this was such a big race i just didnt want to miss out. Definatly been struggling since mile 4 and just was trying to hold on for the finish line.

after race seen friend Rene and hung out for just a couple of minutes. Didnt stay for long, just wanted to go home and rest. So I jetted. Dayna and friends were there but I just would not have been any fun to be around
