Comments: People were stopping and clogging up the lines. Many people crowed. I got kicked more than if it had been a shot gun start. The water was very merky and sea weed. What would you do differently?: Start with the swimmers that do not need to stop. Get a better draft. Transition 1
Comments: Could not get my heart rate monitor belt on. This was s slower tranistion than I needed. Bike
Comments: Good bike. Had some trouble getting in the pedal at the start. Could have maybe pushed harder. Transition 2
Comments: I went to the wrong rack and then had to go back down an aisle. What would you do differently?: The racks were crowed and this lead to not finding area easy. I would have used side walk chalk to mark my spots. Run
Comments: Need to run, run, run. I used the run walk method but I believe that this is mental because I feel that I could push harder. What would you do differently?: Spend an extra two hours a week training for the run. Faster than last year. Post race
Warm down: Walked about a .25 of a mile. Stretched and drank two bottled waters What limited your ability to perform faster: My mental focus and I nned to push till it hurts. Drove down that morning. Got up at 4:05. Long drive 1 1/2 hour. Got there registered and set up transition.
