Comments: I RAN the whole way!!!!! I felt great up to mile 9 then I slowed. I was training at 11min/miles and I was surprised I was runing around 10 min/miles!! I thought I would finish between 2:30- 3:00 Hrs. But I passed the 2:20 mile pacer I was so extatic!!! What would you do differently?: When I went to mark lap 3 on my watch, I realized that I stopped my watch at mile 2. So I didn't get info on mile 2-3 and so my time was off on my watch. The most miles I trained up to was 8miles. I felt great the first 9 miles and then I was tough. Post race
Warm down: Walked alot & stretched. Once in my car I put the seat warmers on. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not running more than 8miles. Event comments: I still think I like Triathlons better. It was fun and I still am glowing from doing so well. I definately will do another! I also like all the music playing on the coarse. Ate oatmeal & a Bar. Left @ 6:15am. The day before, we went to 2 birthday party and ate well but not too much. Drank lots of water!!
Ran for a little bit. It was chilly if you weren't running. Stretch a little.
