Pre-race routine:

Hung out and shivered with Kelly, Noz and his wife and a few others. Also met up with JoeR right before hand. More shivering ensued.
Event warmup:

5 minute warm-up jog with Noz. Not much else.

Comments:

I had a good run. Tough once you had to battle the wind for the 2nd half. One mistake was I took a short walk break around mile 9 and a huge group went by me. I got behind them because they were doing such a great job of blocking the wind and got a little complacent. Realized we were doing about 9:10's per mile and had to start picking it up again. I really could have hung out back there for the rest of the race.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. I was pretty happy with results.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and found family and BT'ers. Got really cold pretty quick so we headed back to our place for a gathering of really nice people.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Limited training due to construction on our addition.

Event comments:

With the start of this race only 6 miles from our front door it is hard to turn down. Will hope for another PR next year, but they are getting harder and harder to achieve.

Performance: Good
Course: Rolling hills with a basic square course. First 6.5 miles were a cross wind to the wind at your back. Hit the corner at 6.5 and it was like getting smacked with a hammer. Long haul into the wind from there.
