Swim
Transition 1
Comments: Don't ever rent a bike with cages. Use your bike clips, you get more power. Did I take that advice. hell no. So I was slow. Well I am slow to begin with. What would you do differently?: Rent a bike with bike clips. Bike
Comments: Why am I slow? Because I don't practice enough. I should be happy that I averaged what I average on the trainer! What would you do differently?: Train, practice, anything. Transition 2
Comments: I should have stretched. What would you do differently?: Stretch as I said above! Run
Comments: Too much run/walk. I was really tight and I didn't feel good. A little disappointed in this but I did it and I can't take it back. What would you do differently?: Train longer distances! Post race
Warm down: Walked around. Got a nice cold towel. Drank some water. Went to cheer on some people at the end. What limited your ability to perform faster: First, my head. Second, my training. Third, my head! Event comments: Beside the fact that this wasn't my race, I still had a good time. The family wasn't there because I wasn't sure when my wave would start without the swim so that was a little bit of a bummer. This is such a good atmosphere. Triathlons are a good atmosphere in general and no matter my time, I still finished so I can still ask what the rest of the world did on Sunday! Last updated: 2008-12-04 12:00 AM

Woke up at 4, ate some breakfast bread, hit the road. Stopped for my morning caffeine. Found a parking spot.
Went to my bike, that's when I heard that the swim was cancelled. So all of this angst goes out the door! But then a little sadness. Gotta tough it out sometime.
