Pre-race routine:

Woke up a little before 5AM and ate some toast with gatorade. Headed toward Vienna Metro
Event warmup:

I did not warm up. I got there right at 7:00AM and after bathroom break and dropping off the bag it was time to be herded into the corrals.

It was a great day for running.
What would you do differently?:

I could have picked up the pace earlier but I clocked a 28 minute 5k which is a good pace.
Post race
Warm down:

Met up with fellow BTer's and tried to do a few intermittent stretches.

Event comments:

My Garmin had me at a 8:56 pace instead of 9:02 official result. It showed 10.11 miles and 1:30. I had a goal of 1:40 so coming in at 1:30 if fine by me. Also, thanks to DocSwim and Newleaf for giving me rides today.
