Run
Comments: Awesome event. Best crowd support I've experienced, and just a really great course. The last bridge (Hart bridge) is really the only "challenging" part, but its not too bad, and as soon as that's out of the way you have barely .5 mile left to go. The also had speakers lining the sides of the bridge blasting "Eye of the Tiger" when I got that. Hahaa... My first time running a 15k, and I loved it. I think half marathons are a little more my speed (I'm not a sprinter by any means), but this 15k was a blast. Definitely will be back next year. 1 6:44 2 6:34 3 7:05 4 7:10 5 6:53 6 7:07 7 7:15 8 7:20 9 7:14 9.46 2:57 http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/7790046 What would you do differently?: Signed up earlier and got seeded up front. Ends up I did have the previous race times to qualify, but didn't know about it until it was too late. I spent the first 2-3 miles doing serious zigzagging. Post race
Warm down: Walked around a bit and waited with my Dad for my sister to finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: Speed work probably. My form starts to fall apart a bit at the upper speeds. Event comments: Awesome swag. For such a cheap ($25) race, I got a shirt, cup, hat, mouse pad, and a bunch of other little things. The expo was just the right size, and parking was excellent. Bathroom lines weren't too bad either. Since this was the 32nd time of this event, the experience definitely showed. These people know how to put on this event. Loved it. Last updated: 2008-12-30 12:00 AM

Didn't get an awful lot of sleep the nights leading up to this. Not because of nerves or anything, just staying up late with family, going to movies, catching up with people.
Just a couple trips to the port-a-potties.
