Swim
Comments: After turn at 2nd bouy the chop was head on and bad, after that it seemed to die down and was much easier to breath. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I was happy with the swim overall Transition 1
Comments: Long trans but overall I'm happy with my time. The socks took at least a min to put on but oh well. What would you do differently?: Maybe learn to bike and run without socks? Bike
Comments: After hydrating in Lucky Peak I was a little bloated on the start and was burping lake water. What would you do differently?: Very happy with bike time considering the weather. Transition 2
Comments: Fingers were so numb from the cold, I could not tie my shoes! Need to invest in speed laces. What would you do differently?: Speed laces for shoes. Run
Comments: Legs felt good the 1st loop but my gut was in a knots. Didn't know if I was going to barf or crap my shorts. If I kept the pace slow, it seemed to help. 2nd leg, legs begin to feel tired and guts were the same. What would you do differently?: Too much nutrition and water on bike? Not sure why I had GI problems. Post race
Warm down: Food and water. Celebrate with friends and family What limited your ability to perform faster: GI issues Event comments: Great race and the volunteers were awesome, they make the race what it is. Last updated: 2008-12-30 12:00 AM
