Pre-race routine:

Woke up early for the race, woo who! Didn't have much to eat, if anything that is. Headed to the park to meet the bus that took us up the canyon to the starting line.
Event warmup:

Went to the bathroom (dang lines) then headed down to the start. Some light streching and trying to keep warm. Dropped off warmups and did a bit more streching.

What would you do differently?:

I would have actually like to have kept a faster pace through more of it. I felt I could have held it. But overall, loved the race and will be doing it next year.
Post race
Warm down:

Crossed the finish line and went for a bit of Gatorade. Then walked around for a while and finally settled down by a tree and waited for my two teamates and coach to cross the finish line.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Inexperiance mostly. It was my first and I had no idea how or what pace to keep (my coach really helped me out here and made sure we made it through in one piece)

They really put on a great marathon that went very smoothly!

Course: Fast course. The first... 14 miles was pretty much all on a slight down hill. Great frist marathon. Weather couldn't have been better with clouds consistently keeping things cool and even some rain which felt great to run in.
