Pre-race routine:

Wake up at 3:30. Bike from Crown Plaza to transition approximately 3 miles.

Faster swim times for everyone because of strong current, but my split was 5 minutes faster than last year. This is probably 3-4 minutes because of current, and 1-2 minutes because of improvements in my conditioning and form.

Large transition area with long runs - timing mat coming out of water was close to swim exit, then had to run 50-75+/- yards just to get to the entrance to transition, then had approx another 50-75+/- yards to my spot.

This is one of my favorite races. It is well-run and it's a fun and scenic course.
