Swim
Comments: I felt pretty good aobut the swim. It was a rough wave start as I seemed that I was constantly hitting someone else or being hit and/or kicked. It was bad at first, then it got a little better, then got bad again after the first buoy. What would you do differently?: Everything went well, but I should have handled the exit a little better. Transition 1
Comments: I tried "rolling up" my socks to help speed this up. It didn't go very well as I slowed down on this part. I just need to practice this a bit more. Bike
Comments: I was breathing a little heavy through the first part. I think it was the transition from the swim through the transition period and onto the bike. I didn't have my speed sensor so I was just relying on feel and RPE. The wind came from the south, so there was a little effort on one segment. The roads were well marked and coned. What would you do differently?: settle down sooner and get my strength before pressing. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Ug. This was a disappointment. I came off the bike exactly when I was hoping to and hoped to have a decent run. Unfortunately I had trouble catching my breath and I was probably going out too strong without my HR monitor. Post race

Ate some waffles, wathced a little TV and got on my way. Once at race site, I rode over to the transition area and got everything setup.
Swam about 5 minutes before the wave start.
