Comments: Swim was cancelled and replaced with a 1.9 mile run. Took it relatively easy, trying to save my legs for the 2nd run. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 1

Comments: Felt great the first loop, then slowed down a little bit on the second. A little windy on the last 2 miles of each loop. Transition 2

Comments: Started out okay for the first mile. Just didn't have the legs to maintain 8ish min pace for the remaining two miles. I'm guessing it was the first run that did me in. What would you do differently?: Not do a Du! Post race
Warm down: Walked around...drank lots of water. Forgot to stretch, as usual. What limited your ability to perform faster: The extra 2 mile run affected my ability to run 8 min miles for the 5k. Event comments: I saw lots of drafting and lots of beginners not understanding that they need to stay to the right. Plenty of riders just hanging out on the left side of the lane when they weren't passing anybody. Made it difficult to pass safely. Last updated: 2009-01-09 12:00 AM
