Run
Comments: I felt great on the run. I kept the pace a litle slower so I didn't wear myself out for the ride. I was happy with the run the time I posted. What would you do differently?: Wore long sleeve undershirt underneath jersey. It was just a little too hot and would have been fine without the undershirt. Transition 1
Comments: I need a better routine to get from running shoes on to the bike. For example, I decided to put gloves on while I rode, but I wasn't very efficient in doing so and would have been better off taking the extra time in the transition area. Bike
Comments: I'm still slow on the downhills, but I'm getting a lot better. I actually dropped a couple of people in the race and felt great about that. I think the bike could become a little better if I were to drop the stem so it is a little lower, but we'll see. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Just more practice to add some miles so I can become more efficient. Transition 2
Comments: Transition went well, but I had trouble with double knots in my shoes. What would you do differently?: Figure out a more efficient way to loosen and tighten running shoes... Run
Comments: I was happy with the run. Calves were a little tight, but I had plenty of excesse energy to kick it in hard down the stretch. What would you do differently?: GO even faster:) Post race
Warm down: No warm-down. I was beat and ready for a nap. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: I enjoyed the race overall. The results could be more in-depth, so I'm a little dissapointed in that. And I would like to know why I was penalized for 2 minutes. I remember seeing somebody write something down as they passed, but I wasn't sure what it was. Apparently it was a penalty for maybe not allowing somebody to pass??? Not sure! But I know I'm kind of ticked... What can you do? Last updated: 2009-01-14 12:00 AM

Started off by stretching. After that I ran a 1/2 mile to warm-up and stretched again.
