Run
Comments: Run #1: 11.45 @ 4.89 min/km (Following swim #1) I wanted to throw up and quit after this run, I was stitching badly and felt quite ill. Probably a result from the swim. Transition 1
Comments: T1: 31 sec: Glad to be back on dry land, I think....... T2: 36 sec: I had real trouble getting my bloody cap back on! No rush to get back into the water either! T3: 28 sec: Suck up that oxygen! Swim
Comments: Swim #1: 10.02 @ 20.04 min/km (First Leg) Very tough going, considering the chop I did OK, I am getting more confident in the water now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Swim #2: 12.42 @ 25.25 min/km (Following run #1) I walked/ran to the water, I didn't want to go back in but I wanted to finish this thing and not for it to finish me! What would you do differently?: I think the club aquathlons have been a good part of my training. I felt good and reasonably confident. Transition 2
Comments: See previous T1 notes. Run
Comments: Run #2: 11.20 @ 4.72 min/km (Following swim #2) Started to feel human going into the 2nd lap and ran reasonably well. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: It was just tough out there. Event comments: Good event, good challenge Last updated: 2009-01-14 12:00 AM
