Run
Comments: First half mile was hard, because it was so crowded. Even though there was a separate walker start ten minutes later, there were a lot of walkers in between the runners. Pace started out good, mood was good, next 1.5 miles were a breeze. Hardest part was the last long hill of the course. At the end of that hill, I felt sick and didn't get much better until I crossed the finish line. What would you do differently?: Don't wear gloves. Halfway through I took them off... I never learn that my hands are overheating first. Other than that... All is good. Post race
Warm down: Walked around until stomach settled. Got rid of the chip, started searching for BF and then jogged to the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: Still only little running experience, but I think this race represents my current ability level and when I keep training, there is still a lot of improvement in for me. Event comments: A little on the downside of this race was the organization of the result list. I was on the guntime result list, but not on the chip time result list. The same happened to a co-worker of me. The answer of the race director to this was 'you know how computer are, maybe the chips didn't work'. Alright, but why is my chip time then listed on the gun time list, if you say my chip hasn't worked.... Oh well. Last updated: 2009-01-19 12:00 AM

Got up at 7AM. Had a granola bar and some water. Headed out at 8AM.
Walked around to find some friends...never found them.
Jogged around a little and stretched... After that, tried to stay warm.
