Pre-race routine:

Drank some Heed had 2 cliff bars. (I Love these things) Relaxed and listen to my Ipod. Just chilled and met new friends. Tried to soak up the experince of doing my 1st Tri.
Event warmup:

Did some light running and alot of streching. Also swam 100 yards wished I'd had swam more so I could get my breathing right.

Course was great and played to my strengths but after the 2nd mile i started to die out. I should have drank some heed b4 the big hill.

work on doing more bricks at race distances!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

experience!!!! I really need to work on race distances for the bike and run.

Event comments:

Well this is my 1st of many Tri's and this one will be special to me. I was ready and I worked really hard! My goal was between 1:08 and 1:10. I reached it and more I was 15th overall and 2nd in my age group. Whatmore could I ask for??? maybe 52 less seconds? LoL maybe next year!!!

Course: Great and challenging. 1st 3 miles was flat and the next 6 miles were hills. The reviews on this were correct. My only gripe was there was too many cars on the road.
