What would you do differently?:

Could have swam harder but since it was the first time out I didn't want to bonk

Had a really rough time with the wet and cold weather. Needed to put on a base layer for warmth on the ride which slowed me down. Shirt stuck on my back and socks were difficult to get into.
What would you do differently?:

skip the base layer and just stay with what was necessary...socks-->cleats-->shirt-->helmet and skip the extra shirt and biking gloves.

Course was great but the wet made the cold weather worse. Still a great loop course.

ride harder and ignore the pain of my numbing skin and feet.
