Had some oatmeal, raisins and oj 2 hours before race. Drank water as I drove to site.

I stayed to the outside of the group, being my 1st triathlon ever! I did not run into too many people. Swam faster than I thought I would! Yeah!
What would you do differently?:

More open water training.

More outside bike training...not just spin class! Get faster at biking!

My legs really did feel like bricks for the 1st mile or so! Had to take some walking breaks. Overall pace was still pretty good!

Run faster! Get more endurance!

Not enough outside training.
