Run
Comments: A really good run, I beat my goal. I warmed up the first 4 miles with a retired Air Force guy, keeping an 8.5 min/mile pace; but I dropped him and sped up to get a good time. My injury wasn't too bad. What would you do differently?: Not get injured a week beforehand. Post race
Warm down: 10 minute cold bath, 30 minute hot shower, stretch. Gatorade, apple slices, orange slices, and half a Subway sandwich. What limited your ability to perform faster: My injury and this being a training run. The wet course didn't help either, and the hills were rough. Event comments: It was a good run for me, but there wasn't anything to do afterwards. Jared from Subway was there, but it did not really look like him. Last updated: 2009-01-30 12:00 AM
