Swim
Comments: While the swim and my group (Athena's and ladies over 50) were certainly very pleasant, the early season cold water temps were cold on the asthmatic lungs. I had a small breathing issue in the beginning. What would you do differently?: I need to jog in the am before the race and REALLY swim more beforehand. About 30 minutes beforehand. Just have to be sure I don't cramp due to the cold. I started to at the end of this year. Transition 1
Comments: I think I need alot of work here esp. since there were strippers. I could make up some time here I think. :) What would you do differently?: Practice T1 more! :) Bike
What would you do differently?: I need to get up the hills and then get my breathing in control. I also need to get off the bike with breathing in control for the run. I think I can push this section more too. Transition 2

Comments: I have to figure out how to get my heart rate under control for the first part of the run so I don't combust and can keep a nice rhythm. What would you do differently?: I would like to shoot for 9 min. miles. Post race

Yummy breakfast of a bagel with pb and a hot cocoa! Got up in time to have breakfast with three hours to wait before race.
Because it was so cold, I spent quite a bit of time trying to warm up in the water. For next year, I need to spend even more time in the water.
