Swim
Comments: Really never got into a great rhythm, didn't catch any draft What would you do differently?: try harder to get into a rhythm, worry a little less about the draft Transition 1
Comments: I start with my shoes on already, too klutzy to put them on on the bike, wet suit only stuck on the foot with the chip so no too bad What would you do differently?: remember the chip! Bike
Comments: Really didn't have any problems, just felt like I was working a lot harder than I expected. What would you do differently?: No answer Transition 2
Comments: someone else's wetsuit was covering up my stuff which had me thrown for a bit but overall I was pretty happy with T2. Run
Comments: run was ok until the last couple of miles, I was really working to maintain, pretty shaky at the finish What would you do differently?: Had some gastro problems that kept me from getting proper hydration/nutrition, try harder to make that happen regardless of "upset stomach" Post race
Warm down: walked around, hydrated, took salt tabs, nutrition What limited your ability to perform faster: inability to get enough nutrition/hydration Event comments: My results were great but inside it was a mental and physical struggle just about the whole way, but it didn't kill me so I'm stronger now, haha.
