Eat 2 hours before race. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Boost, Zip Fizz, and Powerade. Arrive 1 hour early.

Comments:

Extremely happy with my performance today. I was aiming for just under 2 hours and smashed that time. I have never gone hard on a long run so I had no idea what kind of pace I could keep. I kept a good pace for the first 9 miles and then decided to pick it up for the last 4 miles and I was able to hang on through the finish.
What would you do differently?:

Not wear a jacket
Post race
Warm down:

Stretch, take in calories liquid and solid

What limited your ability to perform faster:

slight discomfort in left glute and left foot but not too bad.

Excellent race. Great turnout, good volunteers, awesome course
