Checked in, set up transition, changed, warm-up for 1 mile jog to check out bike/run course. Say hi to some friends racing, change into race clothes, one last check at transition, and warm-up with 300m in diving well.

I felt great during the swim- this is backwards for me. I feel this has been my greatest improvement in the off-season and will continue to improve. Let's see how open water swimming goes...

They included T1 time into the bike split, and I forgot to start my watch so I have no idea how long it took. Everything went well except my big rookie mistake- I forgot to zip up my jacket, so I had that flapping in the wind as I rode off.
What would you do differently?:

Use a pull-over jacket or none at all.
