Run
Comments: I kept a good pace and just thought of the race as one aid station to the next. Stopped and walked at each aid station to make sure I drank a full cup of water or Gatorade or got my gel in. Nutrition was awesome, never felt like I bonked at all, even sprinted the last stretch to the finish. IT band kicked in a little after mile 5, and after mile 6 my foot was killing me but I kept going. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Jogged for 15 minutes, got a massage and stretched out, drove the 2 hours home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of experience running that distance. Event comments: Great race, the people were great and the course was perfect for my first half marathon. Definetely will look at this one for next year. Last updated: 2009-02-06 12:00 AM

Arrived at Lambeau a little after 5am- most likely I was the first one there. Wasn't sure how parking would be, so I planned to get there right away. Walked around, got the lay of the land, ate breakfast, took some pictures.
Ran about 1 mile, then stretched everything really good.
