Swim
Comments: A nice solid swim - nothing spectacular but I am fine with the split! Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Extremely pleased with my effort today on the bike - as well as the result. Really felt good for most of the ride except for a bit of fatigue and an inability to power through some of the hills on the back half of the ride. Despite that I couldn't be happier! What would you do differently?: Maybe get out of the saddle on some of the inclines and drive trough 'em ---- not sure. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Very proud of myself here -- just had a very good run for me, actually a personal best and it feels pretty good. Helps me a bit mentally knowing I am capable of pushing through a bit and running a decent run in a race. What would you do differently?: Can't think of anything big -- maybe mile 2 could have been a bit closer to 1 and 3.....if I had to pick something. Post race
Event comments: Extremely happy with today's race --- finishing 2nd overall is something I am really proud of and how can you be disappointed losing to an amazing triathlete like Herb. He is incredible!! It's pretty cool that I set a goal for the race to finish in the top 3 overall and I was able to accomplish it - as well as my other goal of running a sub-20min 5K. Hagerstown Sprint - DONE and I met my goals! NorthEast Olympic - ??? Augusta 70.3 - ??? Last updated: 2009-02-10 12:00 AM

Met Watson and Kelby at Dunkin Donuts - got the coffee and hit the road. Checked in and racked the bike in the rain - a pretty steady downpour. Hung out for a bit outside and in the car before making our way out again.
