Pre-race routine:

Woke up, ate some ramen, & headed over to pick up Karen & Kim. When we got on the road, I ate a Clif Bar & drank a Red Bull.

Comments:

Between being sick a week ago and the weather conditions(40 and winds of 20-40mph), I wasn't planning on doing a fast run. I was hoping for a 10 minute/mile average, but I was just going to take it as it came and see how it went. Simply put, I beat this course's *ss. My Garmin showed a distance of 6.28 miles and a time of 56:03, which puts me at an average of 8:55 min/mile. That's obviously way above & beyond my goals, so I'm pretty pumped.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much.

Event comments:

The parking was close, the event started on time, & the run was pretty well-supported. The post-race activities could have been a little better, but it was a great event overall.
