Average swim for me. I don't think I did my best picking my way through the waves in front of me. I lost time as a result. The time included the beach run.

I just did not ride hard enough. It was my first race on my new Tri bike and the first with race wheels. I also had only ridden the bike twice before the race. I think I raced well on the flats and slight rollers, but suffered terribly on the climb, and hesitant on descents.
