Comments:

I know my heart was beatin' too fast half way through. I knew 2 of the people in the race that would run my goal time through 2. I was killing them for the first half. Then they past me. They ran the race I should have run for the first 2 miles. From there I could have opened it up.

What would you do differently?:

Pace. Pace. Pace.

Post race
Warm down:

I normally run a mile BUT it was the Arnold Expo and we had limited time. So I walked around the fitness expo for an hour. I did run a quarter mile or so to my bike and ride home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I need to incorporate some more high quality workouts in my training. (rather than just running from point a to b)

Again- I lose focus during the race.

Event comments:

The cost of this race is high but it is a motivator to lift, you get in the expo free, Arnold starts the race, it is a pleasant race with participants interacting with each other more than other races.
