Comments: I was very slow. Very short course, went with slowest group and should have gone with a faster group, kept catching folks and found navigation around people messed up my tempo, such a short course was bearly able to warm up before it was over. What would you do differently?: More experience would be helpful, train more, relax more. Transition 1
Comments: Lost a lot of time here, forgot my race belt at home, so I had to find another shirt to pin my number to for the last two rounds, shirt was a bit clingy and got stuck on my wet skin and number completley ripped off when I was trying to put it on, I had to re-pin the whole thing. Everything else was fine. What would you do differently?: Not forget my race belt! Bike
Comments: My best event for this race, I was very strong and shifted well, passed many folks. Forgot to put my drink mix in my water bottle so I had to eat a gel on the ride, went fine. What would you do differently?: Not forget drink mix, especially for longer races, more hill training. Transition 2
Comments: Went fine, transition a bit cramped. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Lead legs! Felt very slow, took me half the course to get my pace and feel comfortable, sprinted the last 1/4 mile to the end. It was pretty hot by this time. But I did run all the way, I refuse to walk. What would you do differently?: More brick training. Post race

Had everything packed the night before, got to swim the course the evening before. Staying with friends a few minutes away from the site got up at 4:30am had a bowl instant oatmeal and some milk, later some water. Loaded my bike, got to the site at 5:30 just as transition opened, got set up, forgot my goggles and had to go back to the car, had plenty of time. Chatted with friends.
Not much, swam part of the course again, stretched a bit, drank more water.
