Swim
Comments: Just went with the swim, the goal was to push it but not get to the point where I would be dead for the bike. The water was nice but it was very murky, had to swim through some of the waves in front, but overall it was not that bad. Never felt like I pushed too hard. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Long run to T1, overall not bad for T1, good practice for BSLT next weekend. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Thought this bike course would have more hills, but it was surprisingly flat and the legs felt good so I went with it. There were a couple of places at the end where there was some nice headwind especially coming into T2. But coming down the access road of 130 there was a nice tailwind and I just dropped the hammer and let it rip. Overall happy with this ride. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Comments: Good dismount coming into T2, the dismount line was like right at the entrance to transition. had an issue getting one of my shoes on and that cost me a few seconds. What would you do differently?: Pratice Run
Comments: The goal for the run was to not push too hard. Headed out of T2 and immediately noticed that there was a pebble in my left shoe, which was not comfortable. Just ran, and did not really know how fast I was running. The run was pretty uneventful, until mile 2.5 when Yorek blew by me running 4:51 miles, that dude is fast. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Walked around and talked with folks, ate some pizza and drank a bunch water. Event comments: This is a good little race. Last updated: 2009-02-21 12:00 AM
