Run
Comments: The pace was comfortably fast, and I found a rabbit again to run with/behind for the entire race. She was only about 5'3" and was probably running in the F35-39 AG. She was running with so much confidence it was amazing. I hope I didn't annoy her by being at her heels the whole way. We passed thru the original Start Banner, and I had to let her go for the last 1/4 mile. She was running a different race and I knew I was heading for another PR. Thanks for letting me tail you the whole time! What would you do differently?: I really, really need to start incorporating Stretching into my training. I was hurt for the last month and running middle distance at a fast clip makes me pull muscles and end up running on bad wheels. Both my Achilles ended up very tight and I suffered b/c of it. Post race
Warm down: Little bit of jogging to the car and back to p-u my camera and goodie bag. I left the parking lot and jogged the last 1/4 mile of the race again to the finish so I could take photos. Also, stretched for 10 minutes after all the finish activities. What limited your ability to perform faster: My right calf and Achilles were tight from weekend prior 1/2 marathon and the training run I did on Thursday. Other than that, I had a great run at a great pace. Event comments: Great event. You can't beat finishing inside Soldier Field where the hometown Chicago Bears play! Last updated: 2009-02-24 12:00 AM

I didn't eat anything again for race morning. Went potty, then packed up goodie bag and drove to Parking. Drank some water.
Went potty again at stadium.
Stretch briefly.
