I swam much better than I expected. My emphasis on swimming is adequate right now.

This was very unlike being outdoors. I put the resistance up pretty high, hoping that would make my "speed" higher, because I had read to do that on a few websites. Not sure if it was right or not.
What would you do differently?:

Run various resistance/cadence trials on other precor bikes before the race

Running is my weakest sport, no question about it. My only plans on correcting that at this point are to continue focusing heavily on running. It's going to take time to improve my running though, and I'm being careful to avoid injury and not build too fast.

This was a great way for me to give triathlon a try. I'm looking forward to doing a few more sprints this summer. The event was top notch and the volunteers were the best!
